Priya S.
Year 5 · GL · Mock 8 · 21 August 2026
Priya's performance is now consistent with super-selective grammar school pass marks.
Priya has moved above the 121 mark the most selective schools look for — up from 104 at Mock 1. The breakdown below shows which papers carried that climb, and the few topics worth keeping sharp before exam day.

Pace & stamina
What this shows: how Priya does on the first few questions of each paper compared with the last few. It's a read on stamina and pacing under time pressure — not on ability. A small dip is normal at this age; a larger one usually means practising whole, timed papers helps more than covering new topics.
Priya's accuracy dips only slightly — around 4 points — between the first and last questions of each paper, so pacing is holding up well. Nothing to act on; the occasional full-length timed paper keeps it there.

How to read this report
Scaled score (70–141). A standardised score that places each mock on one common scale, so mocks can be compared fairly over time. It is not a percentage or a mark out of 100. Around 109 is a common guide level for grammar-readiness (actual pass marks vary by school and area); 121+ is the range for super-selective grammar schools such as Queen Elizabeth's School, Barnet (Greater London), Reading School (Berkshire) and Pate's Grammar School (Gloucestershire).
Why it differs from "% correct". The percentage on each paper is simply how many questions Priya answered correctly. The scaled score converts that onto the 70–141 scale — for reference, roughly 72% correct ≈ 109. So a fair, still-building 50–60% works out to a scaled score around 100 (that's why an early mock can read ~101 while the papers sit in the 50s).
Bands. Building towards grammar (below 109) · Grammar-ready (109–120) · Super-selective (121 and above).
Accuracy %. The share of questions correct on that paper — the raw, on-the-day figure behind the scaled score.
The range (e.g. "roughly 98–104"). Scores naturally wobble a few points day to day, so read the trend across the series, not any single number.
Indicative only. These scores estimate performance on this mock to guide practice. They are not a school-place prediction.
